How long to delay before having children?
In preparation for a study on the vast subject of marriage I’ve attempted to narrow certain subjects down. Currently I’m working through the subject of procreation. Unarguably in historical Christianity, this is one of the many purposes of marriage. However the problem arises when selfish autonomy sets in.
Such was the case in the recent headline of, “World’s Oldest Mother — Too Old?” as reported by Albert Mohler in his most recent weblog.
Adrianna Llielscu, gave birth to an IVF [in vitro fertilization] baby at the record-breaking age of 66.

to a 3 pound 1 oz baby girl, named Eliza Maria.

Ms. Illiescu firmly believes that a woman has the absolute right to give birth to a child, despite other considerations.
According to Ms. Iliescu, she simply couldn’t stand the thought that she would die without giving birth to a child. As a matter of fact, she claims an absolute right to bear a child, regardless of other considerations. “I believed all my life that a woman has a right to give birth and that is why I had to follow my dream, no matter how old I was,” Iliescu told the press.
To be fair, Ms. Illiescu has changed her view on abortion from her two previously aborted babies in her first marriage.
