Cool Flash puzzle

A friend of mine sent this link entitled “the flash mind reader”

notice the symbols change after every retry.

for each set of numbers (0-99) all possible answers to the equation have matching symbols.

so no matter what number you pick, it gauarentees to hit the same symbol.

10 – 1 = 9 symbol of snowflake
42 – 6 = 36 symbol of snowflake
80 – 8 = 72 symbol of snowflake
…
