O LORD, how my adversaries have increased! Many are rising up against me. Many are saying of my soul, “There is no deliverance for him in God.” Selah. But You, O LORD, are a shield about me, My glory, and the One who lifts my head (Psalm 3:1-3)
God has graciously been that shield around Theo in light of the Delhi bombings this past weekend. He emailed me (finally!) and informed me that he was at the very spot where one of the bombs went off:
Nothing could I do, nothing could I not do and say. God was gracious and kind to us. Just one hour before the bomb blast, we were having one day seminar on Christian living near the spot where 53 people were killed and many were left injured. The blast took place in three places. I feel so bad about the dead people, beause they were all shopping for Dewali celebration. Dewaili is kind Christmas festival for Hindus. I deserved to be one them in the blast but God has to save me over and over I don’t know why ! truly he loves the sinners like me.
I am saddened by the murder of 53 people, yet rejoice that He has allowed Theo safety. The Lord must have more work for Theo to do!
