Rappin at the Filter

Lately I’ve been hanging out at The Filter, a new blog by my good friend Dan Arcilla, aka D-Dub along with his Arcilla brothers.

The discussion about Sermon Raps turned to full-blown Christian rappers. D-Dub mentioned one Bay Area rapper who goes by the name of Emcee Kujoe. If you enjoy rap music you have to listen to this theologically grounded rapper who loves to gives his testimony of how God saved him. As Ligon Duncan the rapper would say, “Emcee Kujoe came to the place where he cried out in mercy to God and aksed Him for forgiveness of his sins!”

Here’s some samples of Emcee Kujoe and Young Ace:

    Yo Pat!

    Thanks for the shout!

Sometimes I wonder if we will have a chosen rapper when we get to heaven. LOL. Will God feature all styles of music when we get to heaven? Hmmmmm… Or will only be piano? Or will it be only acapella? Or will there be instruments we’ve never heard of?

Perhaps the songs of the angels alone will be enough to astound everyone!
