Gas prices crampin’ your style?

Check out this 188mpg BMW car! Well kinda — it runs on natural gas:

Running on compressed natural gas, the vehicle would not only help preserve stocks of oil but would emit less polluting carbon dioxide than conventional cars. Its fuel consumption is predicted to be equivalent to 188 miles per gallon.

The fascinating design aspect of this car is the hydraulic tilt feature. It tilts as it corners similarly to a motorcycle giving it better grip. I’m not much into these sardine-style futuristic autos, but the design of this car has great potential in my opinion.
