I find study bibles to be a great help. My favorite study bible has been the MacArthur Study Bible. I have the older NKJV translation and wished I waited for the NASB. MonergismBooks.com is offering the NASB MacArthur study bible at 50% off just for today.
Another study bible that seems to be making a lot of news is the ESV Study Bible. Unlike the MacArthur Study Bible edited by one man, the ESVSB was put together by several dozen scholars. For the month of March, Crossway is offering free access to the ESVSB online notes,introductions,maps and articles all for FREE.
